POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Longtime Idaho lawmaker Sen. Mark Nye has died. He was 76.
Nye, a Democrat from Pocatello, died at a hospital on Saturday after an extended illness, the Idaho State Journal reported.

POCATELLO — Idaho State University researchers have established a clear link to septic sources of nitrate contamination in about one-third of the 100 private wells in the Lower Portneuf Valley Watershed sampled for a study.

POCATELLO — Tyler Liddle, a former Idaho State University employee charged with embezzlement, used fake invoices and receipts to steal $116,000 from the university over a period of about four years, according to police reports obtained Monday.
