MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Tactile Systems Technology Inc. (TCMD) on Monday reported a loss of $15.6 million in its first quarter.

The Minneapolis-based company said it had a loss of 78 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 42 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 31 cents per share.

The medical device maker posted revenue of $48 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $44.9 million.

Tactile Systems Technology expects full-year revenue in the range of $235 million to $240 million.
