West Virginia signs 3 men’s basketball recruits

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia has signed three men’s basketball recruits.

Coach Bob Huggins announced Wednesday the signing of Josiah Davis, Josiah Harris and Patrick Suemnick for the 2022-23 academic year.

The 6-foot-3 Davis averaged 20.8 points and 4.7 rebounds last season for Teays Valley Christian School in Scott Depot. Davis is a native of Kitchener, Ontario. He previously helped the Canadian Under-16 National Team earn a silver medal at the FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship in Brazil.

The 6-7 Harris averaged 17.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 blocks last season at Richmond Heights High School in Cleveland.

The 6-8 Suemnick attends Triton College in Illinois. Last season he averaged 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per game at Robert Morris.

The November early-signing period continues through next Wednesday.
