Ooh-la-la! Diners enjoy French cuisine made by Havasu student chefs
WAVE culinary students prepared and served a French-inspired dinner to 45 ticket-holders Jan. 15. The school hosts a dinner series that is open to the public. Another dinner is planned for Feb. 12 featuring Hawaiian cuisine. Tickets are $25. Call 928-453-7017 or stop by the school to make reservations. It is at 1540 S. Palo Verde Blvd. Tuesday’s meal began with French onion soup, crusty, rustic French bread and a grated carrot salad with lemon Dijon vinaigrette. Later, beef Bourguignon was served with garlic mashed potatoes with Ratatouille Tian. The meal was topped off with Crème Brulee with raspberry palmiers.
