2 killed in southeastern Kentucky house fire

MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (AP) — Two people have died in a house fire in southeastern Kentucky, authorities said.

Diana Poff, 75, and Willina Risner, 46, were found dead inside a burned house in the Colmar community of Bell County on Saturday, Kentucky State Police said in a news release. Both women were from Middlesboro.

A third woman was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center to be treated for injuries.

Investigators say no foul play was suspected in the fire, which is under investigation.
