ONTARIO, Ontario (AP) _ Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ) on Tuesday reported first-quarter earnings of $9.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Ontario, Ontario-based company said it had profit of 14 cents.

The solar wafers manufacturer posted revenue of $1.25 billion in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.29 billion.
