Berry Global: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Berry Global Group Inc. (BERY) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $205 million.
On a per-share basis, the Evansville, Indiana-based company said it had profit of $1.50. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.93 per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.78 per share.
The packaging company posted revenue of $3.78 billion in the period, meeting Street forecasts.
Berry Global expects full-year earnings in the range of $7.20 to $7.70 per share.
Berry Global shares have dropped 19% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 9% in the last 12 months.
