Black Knight: Q1 Earnings Snapshot
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Black Knight Inc. (BKI) on Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $364.6 million.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based company said it had net income of $2.35 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 63 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 60 cents per share.
The provider of data and analytics for the mortgage and finance industries posted revenue of $387.2 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $380.3 million.
Black Knight shares have declined 12% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen slightly in the last 12 months.
