Purple Innovation: Q1 Earnings Snapshot

LEHI, Utah (AP) _ Purple Innovation, Inc. (PRPL) on Tuesday reported a loss of $13.5 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Lehi, Utah-based company said it had a loss of 20 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 24 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 36 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $143.2 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $128.4 million.

Purple Innovation expects full-year revenue in the range of $650 million to $690 million.
