SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) _ Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. (SWBI) on Thursday reported earnings of $30.5 million in its fiscal third quarter.

The Springfield, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 65 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 69 cents per share.

The firearm maker posted revenue of $177.7 million in the period.
