Telus: Q1 Earnings Snapshot
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Telus International Inc. (TIXT) on Friday reported first-quarter profit of $34 million.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 13 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 26 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 25 cents per share.
The digital services provider posted revenue of $599 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $600.9 million.
Telus expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.18 to $1.23 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.55 billion to $2.6 billion.
