PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) _ Simmons First National Corp. (SFNC) on Thursday reported net income of $65.1 million in its first quarter.

The bank, based in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, said it had earnings of 58 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $203.9 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $187.8 million, falling short of Street forecasts.
