TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) _ AudioEye, Inc. (AEYE) on Thursday reported a loss of $3.6 million in its first quarter.

The Tucson, Arizona-based company said it had a loss of 32 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $6.9 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in July, AudioEye said it expects revenue in the range of $7.4 million to $7.6 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company’s shares hit $3.82. A year ago, they were trading at $22.96.
