Pocatello police arrest two on drug-related charges
POCATELLO — Pocatello police arrested two people on drug-related charges over the weekend.
They located Jay L. Langerman walking into a business on Yellowstone Avenue on Saturday. The 51-year-old Victor man was wanted on a warrant in Bingham County, police said.
While taking him into custody, authorities say they found morphine sulfate pills in his possession.
Langerman has since been charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance, according to Bannock County Magistrate Court records.
Police also arrested Pocatello resident Terry E. Rademacher, 37, for incidents that allegedly occurred between late Sunday night and early Monday morning.
Authorities say they were attempting to contact Rademacher about an earlier disturbance when they saw him throw a meth pipe on the ground. He also allegedly tried to conceal a container of methamphetamine in his pants.
In addition, police say Rademacher resisted them when they attempted to take him into custody.
Rademacher has since been charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanors for resisting officers and using drug paraphernalia or possessing it with the intent to use it, according to court records.
