A “major player” in drug dealing in Beaver Dam and Dodge County was arrested Monday night following a traffic stop.

Lacresha Lightfoot, also known as LA, was tentatively charged with party to the crimes of manufacturing/delivering heroin, manufacturing/delivering cocaine and delivery of a counterfeit narcotic, the Sheriff’s Office said.

“This arrest is a major break in supply of these dangerous and deadly drugs to our community,” said Sheriff Dale Schmidt. “We are confident we have removed a major player from our streets.”

Lightfoot allegedly ran her drug business out of several locations in Beaver Dam, including Lakecrest Drive, Rosendale Street and the Shoe Factory Apartments on North Spring Street.

“Lightfoot had several associates working for her in her drug distribution business, and we will be working to bring them to justice as well,” Schmidt said.
